[mso] Re: Outlook Rules Wizard

I went to File, New, then to Personal Folders File. I created a subfolder in
the new PST file to match the name of the file in the previous location and
then dragged the contents over and placed it into the newly named file. I
made my rule again for the new location and it works for a little while and
then starts to give me rules errors. It unchecks the box for that rule in
the rules list as well.

Thanks,

I don't understand what you mean when you say you made a new pst file and
"moved" the folder to that place. Could you explain how you did that?

If you are saying you moved your pst to a new installation of Outlook...this
is a known issue. The rules come thru but they are no longer associated
with the folders so you have to manually reassociate the rules with the
correct folders.

I made a new PST file and moved the folder to that place. I've deleted the
rule and made it over again. It seems like the rule works for a while and
then crashes. I have Outlook 2000, btw.

Thanks,
