Subject: [mso] Office 2000 Developer won't install

Hi,
I had Office 2000 Developer installed in a Win98SE machine. Now I
upgraded
the machine to Windows 2000 Professional (clean install), installed the
first two CDs (Office 2000 Premium) apparently OK (everything in Office
I
have tried so far works, including VBA), but when I try to install the
Developer CD it gives me the message that it needs to have Visual Basic
for
Applications 6.0 installed on the machine, asks me to install Office
2000
or some other application that will install Visual Basic <G> and closes
the
install.
My Office 2000 developer is an upgrade edition, so I install a part of
Office 95 first (usually just Word or just Excel), and then install
Office
2000 letting it remove the 95 application.
Anybody had this problem before? Everything worked all right under
Win98SE. All software original, properly licensed CDs. Thanks. Wilson
