I'm sure Tina already saw this suggestion from Vic in his group ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WinTips-Tricks/ ) ....but I asked Vic if I could post it here so you guys and gals can see it...so here's a way to open Outlook with no preview panes: As for Preview Pane in Outlook, I don't know if this will help but you can use the no preview pane option to close the Preview Pane in all folders at once on startup. ie "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe" /nopreview You can put that into a bat file or shortcut which when double clicked will open Outlook with no preview pane in any folder. That way it doesn't matter if you forget. Anytime you start Outlook, all preview panes will be closed. Thanks Vic!!!
