If you just select all in the first document then copy it and paste it into the second document, does this still happen? Check the styles in both documents. I'm sure that's gotta be what's doing it. How can I make it retain its formatting? I can see the original formatting when I first insert the document then the formatting changes. It's not changing to the formatting of the current document, it's going from Arial 10 to Times New Roman 16, centered bold which is not the formatting in the first document either. I've made sure the The document I'm trying to insert was probably done in Word 97. Thanks, Christine ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=unsubscribe Or, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu.
