Norman,
Many thanks for your help.
CTRL+P refuses to do anything except the "Not Responding" etc messages. Open
With, using Wordpad, is okay and opens about half of the document, and the
rest of the text deteriorates into gobbledegook. Is there any way that I can
recover the 'rest'?
