Hmmm ..
How do i change the Pilcrow in the gap between the footnote and the body
of the document to a font size of 1?

In 2007 Footnote separate is not on be default (in my system). There is
no=3D20
line unless you choose to select it or modify.
The paragraph mark (Pilcrow) will have to stay it does nothing except
hold=3D20
the footnote code like a table marker where one cannot delete the
paragraph=3D20
mark at end of a table.
