[mso] Export contacts from Outlook

Can anyone tell me how to export the contacts from Outlook so I can put them
back into Outlook Express?
I looked at the help but don't get it.
If I can do the above can I uninstall Outlook?
What happened was I installed Office XP over what I had on my machine. I use
Outlook Express after Installing at first everything was in OE but then I lost
my folders, they came back and I lost the contacts which didn't come back.
If it is possible to get the contacts back into OE would you tell me how in
baby steps please as I am too old for big steps.
I will appreciate any help you can give me.
