If you have a way to determine what is the Excel startup folder (\XLStart) in your coworker's machines, you might record the macro in a workbook and then email it to them to be saved in that folder. Excel, when started, will always open all workbooks stored in that folder, so the workbook you send will work the same as personal.xls.
