Here I go again. This should be pretty simply, but then so am I! I want to write formula for taking a number in one cell and dividing it by the total number of entries in a particular column. My last attempt was =G13/COUNTA(A24) with variations on the parenthesis. The entries in column A are all dates, but all I want is to use the total number of entries in that column to divide into the number located in G13. I know that I can simply make a new column and enter a 1 in each line where I have a date, but that is one extra step I'd rather not do unless I have to. Any help from this astute group would be appreciated. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
