I'm just trying this out and must be doing something wrong because it is giving
me nothing. I want the text as a heading in the text - not as running heads -
should that make a difference? And I'm merging it from a data document. I've
given a style reference to the field in each record that I want it to look at.
I've tried telling it to look down instead of up, etc. etc. etc. but still with
no joy. In quark the expression would be IF CAREER = LAST CAREER "" ELSEIF
CAREER. Sorry if I am being more than usually dim!
Jacqui
