April,

It looks like Anthony answered your question, but there is something else
you should know. It appears that you have a field named Date. This can be
very dangerous as that is one of Access's reserved words. For some reason
it will let you name a field with a reserved word but it causes problems
down the road. You may want to consider changing this field name to some
thing more descriptive. (I usually add a brief abbreviation to identify
what the date is.)

I have a weird thing going on with a DB.... I have a report grouped by date
- by day and the =NOW() equation will not give me the current date in the
report header...

When I copied/paste this report with a new name to group by date - by Month
or by quarter... not only will the =NOW() equation not give me the current
date in the report header... but when I run the report I get an error:

Compile error in query expression '[Year[Date]*12+Month[Date]-1\1'

I can not find any where, where this equation is listed in the report...

By the way, when I tried to create a new report from scratch, grouped by
month, and I get the same error...

I can't find anything in VB (And I can't get to Properties pane or the other
window that is usually on the top left when I am in Access 2k VB... I am
having a blonde moment right now to remember what it's called.
