She hasn't mentioned it not working in other applications, I know she uses
Word extensively so I don't think she's having a problem there also.  Thanks

Sorry, John.  I don't have a clue.  I guess the only other thing you could
try is to backup your outlook stuff, uninstall outlook completely and
reinstall it.  There has to be something faulty in the install if it keeps
breaking.

Or you could try deleting the spelling folder in your proofing tools key in
the registry, and see if that fixes it.  Office will just make a new one
when you open an Office program.  But, I don't remember if you answered my
question as to whether or not spellcheck was working in the other programs.
If it's just busted in outlook and not the others, then I don't think this
would fix it.

Wish I could tell you more.

Ok, revisiting this issue again.  I did the detect and repair and it fixed
it, but now it's broken again.  Any ideas why this keeps breaking?  No one
else in my office consistently has this problem.  Thanks.
