Glenda,

Assuming you can link all the tables, bring them into the query and create a
calculated field to tell you if they should be counted.

CountMe: IIF(DateinQuestion < tbl1Date and DateinQuestion < tbl2date and
dateinQuestion<tbl3date, "yes", "no")

Then in a second query, count or perform whatever you need to do using the
first query as your input table and the CountMe field as your criteria.

James

Hi.

I've got several tables with date fields in them as well as text data.
I need to compare the date values and only count data in one of the
tables if it's date value is less than the date values in any of the
other tables.

Any thoughts welcome. /g
