Glenda,

If your term is based on a consistent formula you can actually write =
your own funtion and call it to return the appropriate value.  If you =
want to share how you are coming up with your term, I will be happy to =
help you write your function.  That should save you having to rerun the =
macro every time.

DLookup is what I used before. Thanks for the refresher.

A join would mean I would have to include this table in every query?  I=20
suppose that would work too.

The process will be a macro that uses a query to update the value in the =

term table via a parameter query and every query needing term will =
reference=20
that value.  I may end up having to have multiple values in the table, =
all=20
of which would be updated when the macro runs.
