Somebody want's to give you money?

Most of us have received e-mails, mostly from Nigeria or another African
Country. They come from various relatives of someone who died with a lot of
money, who wants to get money out of the country and give some to you, who
wants to give to charity, who is dying of an incurable disease and wants to
do something nice for you. They most often ask for your phone number,
e-mail address and other information. Then they'll contact you and want to
send a check, or transfer the money directly into your bank account. Of
course they'll need account numbers. It's a SCAM every time. Somebody
actually sent me a check for four thousand dollars this year. I was
supposed to wire $2000 to someone in Florida and keep the rest. Needless to
say the account didn't exist and the check would have bounced, after I'd
sent money on. The best tip . don't respond!

"Praise the LORD, all you nations! Extol him, all you peoples! For great is
his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures
forever. Praise the LORD!" ~Psalm 117:1-2

"Praise the Lord." What does praising God mean? It means being grateful to
God for all the wonderful things in the universe and all the blessings in
our lives. We can praise God by being grateful and humble. Praise of this
kind has more power to vanquish evil than has mere resignation. The truly
grateful and humble person who is always praising God is not tempted to do
wrong. We can have a feeling of security because we know that fundamentally
all is well. So we can look to God and praise God.

I pray that I may be grateful for all my blessings. I pray that I may
humbly accept all that God has given me.

A member asks prayers for her niece who has marriage and emotional problems.
Amy requests prayers that tests will show that her developing baby is
healthy. Maria asks prayers that she might find a home or apartment back
where she used to live to move before Thanksgiving.

Joanna requests prayers for herself to be motivated to lose weight for
health reasons. A member asks for prayers for guidance in making a decision.
Mother asks for prayers for daughter who is suffering internally and getting
involved in bad things.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!
