Blessed Ludovico of Casoria (1814-1885) Born in Casoria (near Naples), Arcangelo Palmentieri was a cabinet-maker before entering the Friars Minor in 1832, taking the name Ludovico. After his ordination five years later, he taught chemistry, physics and mathematics to younger members of his province for several years. It is impossible for them NOT to speak about what they had seen and heard. I pray that I may never shrink from talking about the wonders Jesus has done, for me, for others and in the world I live in. I pray that I may join the ranks of so many disciples who have followed Jesus command to "Go into the world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature! .=: W E P R A Y :=. We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage and willingness to stand up for life.
