A great Pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
04-15 November 2007
Now is a great time to sign up! The brochure and full information, including
hotel links, is on-line.
We'll renew our Baptismal Promises at the Jordan River, where Jesus was
Baptized by John. We'll renew our marriage vows and pray for any deceased
husbands and wives at Cana in Galilee where Jesus attended a wedding with
his Mother and turned water into wine. We'll take a boat ride on the Sea of
Galilee. We'll even have a chance to visit Masada and to swim in the Dead
Sea. We'll visit the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem too, and see the Dead Sea
Scrolls. You'll never read Scripture in the same way after this wonderful

There is much beauty in a God-guided life. There is wonder in the feeling
of being led by God. We can try to realize God's bounty and goodness more
and more. God is planning for us. God's ways are wonderful. They are
beyond our knowledge. But God's leading can enter our consciousness more
and more, and bring us ever more peace and joy. Our lives are being blessed
by God. We can count all material things as loss if they prevent us from
winning our way to the consciousness of God's guidance.

I pray that I may earn the rewards of God's power and peace. I pray that I
may develop my awareness of being led by God.

Amy requests prayers for two intentions. Mary requests prayers for someone
during his struggles awaiting results of tests for bladder cancer. Patty
asks prayers for her daughter to make good decisions regarding herself and
her children, that she asks for and listens to God's guidance.
A mother requests prayers for her daughter who has a lump on her jaw, that
it be nothing serious. Rose gives thanksgiving for prayers answered for her
father, who had a clear CAT scan report. Diane asks prayers for her son,
that he will find a job very quickly. Margaret asks prayers for a special
intention.
We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!
