Thanks for this message.   I loaned my copy of Sparey's 'The Amateur's 
Lateh' to someone in the dim-and-distant past, and in the nature of these 
things, they never returned it.    A fiend has a copy, which I will borrow 
(AND return!   Thanks for this information.
