Well, thanks for the tip about Cubase. However, my YC3B VST that Yamaha
gave me the coad for also needs this ELicenser thingamabob, and I cannot
figure out what I need. It says you can use a dongle or some form of
software, but I don't know what this software is.

I think it refers to software; ELicenser is the software from iLok. However,
I don't think Cubase is accessible at all, unless you have some vision.
If it needs hardware, then it would be an ilok dongle

Unfortunately, I cannot take you up on that offer. I already own an MOXF.
however, I have a question about setting up a DAW on my computer. In order
to activate Cubase, my computer says it needs an ELicenser, whatever that
is. I have installed the licensing software, but it still wants this weird
ELicenser. What is this, and how can I fix it?

Speaking of MoXF, anybody wanna purchase a MOXF 8? Includes accessories and
free training for getting up and running. Or how about a studio starter
pack, a MOXF 8, accessories and a computer configured as a DAW?

new MO XF8 for sale.
Regarding the montage, I too would have liked to see the Motif expand in
other ways, perhaps more memory or a hard drive, more integration with vst
and the computer for recording audio back into the motif, perhaps an audio
sequencer? One thing the montage does have is the 16 part insert. I'm not
sure if the price tag justifies what it adds, especially since most of us
gig with a small laptop or workstation that has synth sounds and effects
galore.
But I'm sure the montage has a market, and those who can afford it probably
will lol. Like all new things, it will get some getting use to, but I'd wait
to see it and try it out in person just to see how it all works.
Nevertheless, it's exciting to hear of a new synth.

Hey guys, I just got word that the Yamaha Montage came out. This is there
replacement for the Motif XF, but the problem is, it has a touch screen! We
need to start petitioning Yamaha to create a voice-over for their keyboards,
or something to that degree. I am working on a suggestions for improvement
document to send to Yamaha and plan to post it soon.
