This part I had assumed (but didn’t know for sure). As someone who also went
through this earlier this year (but with different underlying causes), I
totally understand some of the feelings you are experiencing now. The
relationship I had with my dad wasn’t the same as you and John, but it wasn’t
all Father Knows Best either. May you find peace in whatever form that takes
for you…
