Just for mirabait? Then you are on the safe side as reads themselves can have
4^32-1 bases in the MIRA library.

Just for mapping and these reads are used as reference? There again, you are on
the safe side: references too can have up to 2^32-1 bp.

If you plan to do assemblies, then your reads MUST be shorter than 32776 bp,
because 2 reads of that length with a 15 bp overlap reach a total alignment
length of 65535.
