This is the second time in a couple of months that this has 
happened.  Is there something I am possibly doing to cause this, or 
some way to prevent this?

I notice that the folders that don't delete end up with some very 
strange files and folders added into them.  They all have strange 
names with ansi symbols and very large  byte count or 0 byte count.
I'm sure Stephan is monitoring this and may wish to comment on the 
issue and if it is possible to fix this in the next firmware.
