Even though the Newsletter is just about finished and will be posted
soon, this is an early warning about a new virus on the loose. This is
the W32.Swen.A@mm previously detected as Worm.Automat.AHB by Norton
Antivirus.
You will in all likelihood get this in your mail inbox disguised as a
warning to apply the latest September 2003 cumulative security patch
for Internet Explorer. Please delete this mail immediately. Microsoft
does not mail out security patches. At most, to subscribers, security
warnings with the relevant links might be sent by Microsoft but never
patches as exe files attached to email.
