This is all true, save for one point. There are many positions that do not 
require fighting, such as what my brother in law does, satellite 
communications. There is no reason why we can't be in the military. Sure, I 
don't want to fight, because, well, I'd most definitely die, but there are more 
and more technical jobs that we as blind individuals could do just fine with 
training, some of it even self-taught.
