[macvoiceover] new MBP still not seeing the net.

My friend's brand new MBP15, whose Airport settings are IDENTICAL to MY MBP15,
still won't see the net. It sees the router with 4 bars, but says No Internet
connection. I've hard-cycled everything several times, and no joy. Airport
keeps assigning itself an IP address that is nothing that I recognize, and
won't change. Any ideas?
