Hi,

I just want the general opinions of the group as to which is better for basic
scanning and OCR needs. From what I gather, which ever I choose, (Abby Fine
Reader or else Readiris), I'll need Vuescan to initiate a scan and either other
program as a viewer. Mainly, I'll be doing stuff like checking personal mail
and so forth. I know. It looks like I'm asking the list to make the decision
for me; but, no. Just the pros and cons of each will do nicely. Also, I guess
maybe that Abby Fine reader is less costly than Readiris pro? Thanks.

Sincerely,
The Constantly BAREFOOTED Ray!!!
