Hi Ginny,

Here is a little tip I use which may be helpful to you in using your ipod.

First of all at the main menu, know what is on that menu. Now I'm talking about a click-wheel iPod. Just make sure that you are in the menu by stoping the music with a press on the bottom of the wheel and pressing the top of the wheel a few times, which should take you to the main menu. The first thing is something I don't use, so, the first click is music, so I hit the middle button to take me in to music. Then I look at my list of playlist on the MAC to see which one is first, second and so on and click away.

By looking at iTunes on the mac and the order of list, you can tell where you need to be, weather you are in audio books, or, where ever..

Happy clicking.

Actually I said that wrong. I pull my playlists up in itunes, but I’m not always sure how to select a different playlist once I’ve syncd them to my ipod. Each time I do, I end up turning the ipod’s language to German or Egyptian and then my sighted friends have to figure out how to get the default language back to English, since most of us Americans are too lazy to know German and Egyptian. (except for that one person on this list who probably speaks both fluently. And I don’t think Egyptian is a language…sorry. That’d be Arabic, I guess.)

Well, I’ve used a 20g, 30g video, and now an 80 g classic, and I must confess that I’ve never had anyone go through the clicks with me, so I just keep scrolling until I get what I want. I have playlists, bt am not always aware of how to pull them up in my itunes. So I’d love any advice there. Even off list. I know it is something I can learn. I just haven’t. <grin>
But boy, would it make life easier.
