HiI remember the stream having this issue until the firmware was updated as well. This would imply, then, that OS X does not implement the full USB mass storage specification and is lacking in some part of its implementation.

Hi y'all,Well, this gets more interesting. Apparently it really must be a driver issue of some sort. While I can't mount the BookSense on the Mac, it *does* mount on a GNU/Linux machine; specifically, I tried mounting it on a machine running Ubuntu 8.10. Doing so, I was able to see the files and folders on the SD card installed in the BookSense. Just a bit more trivia to add, I guess.Click on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxwith 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Webinterface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
