I'd heard something about a refreshable braille display that works with bluetooth and mobile speak software and stuff like that; would be interesting if they ever put that on an iPhone.

Or what about using a bluetooth keyboard? There are bluetooth keyboards that you can get to use on phones, so I don't see why one wouldn't work
