Yeah, that would be cool on an iPhone. I'd be the coolest on the block. lol
I am interested in all this because I was actually thinking of trying to get an accessible phone with a display because I am so hard of hearing that I could really benefit from accessible text messages.
Too bad the iPhone won't be that for awhile.

I'd heard something about a refreshable braille display that works with
bluetooth and mobile speak software and stuff like that; would be
interesting if they ever put that on an iPhone.

Or what about using a bluetooth keyboard?  There are bluetooth  keyboards
that you can get to use on phones, so I don't see why one  wouldn't work
