And, even without an iPhone, there's the ability to message people with 
Idevices from the mac, and twitter and Facebook integration, for those who care 
about that. The new OS also includes iBooks, among other things. Obviously 
upgrading won't be right for everyone, but my preference would always be for 
rather than against. There's generally good stuff, above and beyond what might 
happen with VoiceOver.
