the only thing I can think of is that hav turned on an app which trapps the escape key, the only one that I know of is speech recognition which uses the escape key s the listen key. in this event, you have to press the escape key twice. I have to alt+tab to get out of the menu bar. This is the same when in the doc and the toolbar where it says the volume levels, and the time. Is this a voice over problem? Anything I can do to fix it? Thanks for your help.
