[macvoiceover] Group messages by conversation prevents email from being read automatically?

Hi everyone,
I like to group my email messages by conversation, but I also like to have my
messages read automatically as I arrow down the list of messages. When I group
messages by conversation, however, and then press right arrow to open the
conversation thread, when I arrow through the messages, VO doesn't
automatically read the messages. Is there a way to change this behaviour?
