[macvoiceover] Exporting mailboxes in Apple Mail

Hi all,
In preparation for a clean install of Mountain Lion, I plan to export all my
email messages to an external drive. When I clean installed Lion over Snow
Leopard, I thought I could just export my main inbox and all the sub-folders
within the inbox would also get exported... no such luck!! I ended up losing a
lot of email messages I would have loved to keep. So, my question is, is there
a way to export all email messages together, or, is it necessary to go to each
mailbox and export it individually?
