[mac4theblind] Am I the only VO user who doesn't get VO announcing at the login screen?

Hi all, just want to ask something.
Using Lion Version 7.2 I think anyway its all latest updates and have something
to ask about VO when logging in.
Basically when I turn on my Mac Book Pro hear the chine sound and wait.
Well the thing is that for the most part I don't get VO saying the standard
greeting message so what I have to do is Command tab and then it says it.
I guess its not too much of a big deal but I have also enabled VO to come on at
the log on screen when for example doing updates. So I would of thought that VO
would natually announce itself to me.
Just wondered if I was the only one.
