I use both of them fairly regularly. Simply pressing the Windows key to bring up the Start menu is sometimes faster than moving the mouse cursor over to it, and the Windows hotky conbinations (Windows key + E, R, D, M, F, L, and Break are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head) are extremely useful.

As for the menu key, I find that rather useful as well. If my hands are on the keyboard and I need to run something from the context menu, simply pressing that menu key and then the hotkey for the appropriate menu item is quite convenient.

Granted, I'm far from an "average" user, but using a keyboard without these keys is just a painful experience for me. I'm very glad Microsoft introduced them, and I really wish they were better supported under Linux.

You're right, I RARELY use the right-mouse-button-key.
