One final sound thought.

Also as a present I got, "Dr. Seuss Goes to War; The World War II Editorial Cartoons of Theodor Seuss Geisel." Dr. Seuss was the son of a brewer, who was prosperous until prohibition. Dr. Seuss had a contretemps with Dartmouth College authorities over bootleg liquor. Dr. Seuss spoke German at home. Thus when he picked his middle name as a nom de plume, he was enjoying a 1920's liquid fun pun. In German "Seuss" rhymes with Royce, not Zeus.
