I almost wish we could have three countries. I'd move in a heartbeat to another state if I could figure out how to manage it and thought it would be any better. Maybe I'll go to NZ with Julie and just be done with it. We're going to look carefully at Toronto when we go there in two weeks <wry look>. Ben was awake at the crack of dawn today. He is very worried about the future--most of the kids that were voting for Bush ("Kids Voting", remember) are the 'mean ones' and he said he is worried about what they are going to be like when they are adults. I gave him my 'Lines to Live By' book to read from before going to school (there is a section on defeat). I told him it would be interesting to see if Bush will hold to the hard line or if he will just finish up his projects and settle down. I wonder if he will continue to spend like there is no tomorrow (and maybe if he is raptured, for him there is no tomorrow--I've heard that argument from people about the environment, so it would not surprise me if that is the thinking about the deficit...) Sad today and worried even more, Marlena in Missouri (where we tried...) ------------------------------------------------------------------ To change your Lit-Ideas settings (subscribe/unsub, vacation on/off, digest on/off), visit www.andreas.com/faq-lit-ideas.html
