Although one would never know it by looking at the CNN site, there's
good news and bad news from Iraq. The good news is the Italian reporter
Giuliana Sgrena was freed by her kidnappers. The bad news is that a few
hours later she was shot ....by the Americans. She wasn't killed -
although the Italian chief of special services in Iraq Nicola Calipari
was less fortunate - and she now refuses to exclude the possibility
that the attack was not an accident.
