Judy, Over the years Susan's taste in music has gravitated a bit toward mine which is classical, but then she discovered Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli which are half way between classical and pop. I guess Brightman is yours as well. I was impressed with her for awhile, but got tired of her, especially her theatrics. Perhaps I have gotten tired of Bocelli as well but Susan never has. She buys every CD he puts out. I like opera, but don't have too many of CDs of just songs, but Jenkins impresses me. Katherine Jenkins is really very big here, yes; she's Welsh but is very popular and well thought of in England as well. She's remained more of a classical singer than the Il Divo and isn't a manufactured product like them (I sometimes find them a bit over-produced). Susan came home with Il Divo's Encore and we listened to that today. We both thought it was very impressive, probably better than their first album. The commentary that goes with it implies that they are a very big hit in England. Is that true? Also, I bought a CD by Katherine Jenkins a while back and liked it enough to order her Living a Dream. The advertisements imply that she too is very big in England. Is that true? Thanks, Lawrence
