F. (1) Without the Russians, there might not be any Europe. The USA may have had to nuke the Nazis. (2) China might occupy the space Russia occupies and so we'd probably still be speaking English, but the Europeans may have been speaking Chinese. (3) Without the Russians, there would be no Russia. Without Russia, the land mass of that tectonic plate would have moved differently and the regions comprising Eurasia could have separated as little islands, safe and peaceful as a kitten in a bomb shelter.
