You shook loose a memory of the French movie, "Vagabond," as bleak a
depiction of vagrant life as ever you could wish for.  Talk about
"unredeemed"!

I, on the other hand, was moved an inch or two up purgatory's path by
Mahler's "Resurrection" yesterday evening, which was a pretty good answer to
the question posed a while ago, "What kind of concert or live performance
would you pay good money to enjoy."
