I'm telling, that get a book on Red Hat with a CD, if you don't, you will be
dependent on a bunch of emails, each with its own opinion. No one is going to
guide you WHILE you install, and that is what you need.

Oh, first partition your disk drive for Linux, THEN do the Red Hat
installation, "Disk Druid" will then guide you through the partitioning of that
part of the disk that is reserved for Red Hat. Do you'll have a partition for
Linux alone, and that partition will itself
be partitioned for each of the Linux filesystems.

I still recommend Mandrake. Either way, I don't think you will find a Linux
installation procedure that will partition your Windows disk in 2 parts, then
additionally install Linux for you.
