Hmm, well, I am not going to pretend that I understand what is happening.
Apparently, computers do have a will of their own - or at least Linux and
Liblouis do.

Make check reports the following error in el.ctb (copied from
test-suite.log):
ERROR >> Unexpected character ',' on line 24, column 17
The line in question apparently reads:
#+copyright: 2017, Dave Mielke
I just built the latest code on master and am not getting this error. I also
don't recall getting this error when that line was first added.
Do you do a "make distclean" before building from scratch?
