Hi Christian,
I have checked again with a fresh clone, and I still get the same error with
el.ctb. I also had the error on a native Ubuntu, also with a fresh pull from
master. Perhaps, it is worthwhile looking into once again?
BTW: Is there absolutely no way to put the correct gnulib-tool commands into
one of the scripts, so that you can be sure of having the correct modules?

The line in question apparently reads:

I seem to remember that I had to deal with some problem to do with the
el.ctb table related to meta data. I don't remember the exact details but
could it be that you are running an older version of liblouis? I remember
that I fixed this problem by either fixing the meta data parsing function or
by simply making the meta data comply with the function that parses it.
