I am using a Ubuntu 12.10 server which is up-to-date. I will try it on my 14.4 box. What exact versions of python are you using. I can't up-date the server to 14.04 yet because it is a production server. We just keep all the security stuff up-to-date. I can go in and find the problem with python but if updating python fixes it then I won't worry about it unless everyone wants me to take a look at it with python 2.7.3.
