Hi all,

I am working on the french grade2 table (fr-bfu-g2.ctb)

to improve backtranslation so that NVDA user can enter grade2 text.

I encounter a problem with numbers.

In french, the num indicator is dot 6.

The litdigit numbers are those defined in litdigits6DotsPlusDot6.uti.

When I enter a single number, let's say 1 (6 16), it works fine.

When, for example I try to enter 12 (6 16 126), the backtranslator seems to forget the num indicator and the 2 numeric characters are converted to their equivalent abbreviation values.

I've tried several work arounds with no succes, now, I have nomre idea.

Could anyone give me some ideas to solve this?
