[lektrik_flyers] power supplies

Hi all
If you are giong to build a hot wire cutter and need a powrer supply;
CompUSA is selling an ATX computer supply for $1.99 after rebates
Starts at $29.99 then instant $7.00 off and $21.00 mail in. I dont
know how good such a supply is for the purpuse but have read in
threads that they are used. To work rather well; it would be good to
have DC outputs of about 12v- 6amp for wing core cutting set ups and
5/6v-6amp for fff cutting. I don't know the available outputs on
these. Some of you computer geeks should know. There are probably a
lot of free ones laying around if you know where to find them. An AT
power supply should also work depending on available output V/As.
