[LRflex] Re: introduction wrap-up

Just talked to my friend at O'hare here in Chicago - he left Leipzig to 
Frankfurt via train this morning and the snow-covered country-side was just 
wonderful to see. His SAP colleagues were great.  He photographed in small 
towns that the average tourist would not have seen - thanks to them showing him 
favorite places. 
His Leica-designed lens Lumix did not let him down.  A Leica D Lux 4 is on his 
shopping list. We talked about bokeh and how color and the natural lighting 
seems richer in Europe.
I guess a RolleiWerk trip will never happen for him...

Mike,
your friend possibly wouldn't have had much luck with a visit to Rollei 
(about an hour's drive from here) they went bust (again) recently, are 
in the hands of the receivers and are still looking for an investor. If 
nothing happens soon, Rollei will be history.
