Hi Guys
In fact, I've been reading the post with interest but could not add
more....
These days, I'm discovering the Joy of the 6x6.
Compared with the Leica R, it is true than the handling of type 120 film is
tedious... Always afraid of of damaging the roll
I'm using an old Agfa Isolette, the equivalent of a Leica Mini AF autofocus
and a Yashica MAt 124G.
The latter is strange to use, the reverse image is so-so. But the square
format is very nice. I'm currently using it with a hand held meter.
This morning, the check a detail, I've used the R7, it seemed like a Rolls!
Finallly, It was a good choice to use the Leica Reflex, although I think the
use of a Medium format is really a good school for learning.
I know some of you use a range finder. I understand your feelings, after
having a Leica CL for a while, why? it was such an improvement over the
Rollei Flex Clones!!!!
In fact, I'm rediscovering the photography since 1955...
But also, thanks to my "Darling" I've used a Canon EOS 10, 13 years Old.
Sorry but I don't like it. I prefer the Leica R. It is easier to use.
Using an Hand held meter is really a great thing if you have the diffuser
accessory: It measures the incident light rather than reflected light. Not
the ultimate answer to life, photography and Universe, but nice.
I'm not convinced yet that the Yashica Mat with Fuji 160 ASA is better than
R7 + 50mm F2....
